May 8, 2009

Live Multilingual Translator announces the creation and deployment of the website of the “Centers For Disease Control and Prevention”,CDC” in Arabic on its Live Multilingual Translator website, in response the global outbreak of H1N1, also known as Swine flu.

May 8, 2009, (London-Los Angeles- Dubai) - In response to the global outbreak of H1N1, also known as Swine flu, and in support of global efforts to educate individuals, control its spread, and prevent its pandemic outbreak, Live Multilingual Translator (LMT) announces the creation and deployment of the full website of the U.S Centers for the control and Prevention of Diseases  المراكزُ الأمريكيةُ لمكافحة ومنع الأمراضُ and which formerly existed only in English and Spanish.  The new site will be available effective from today 6pm GMT on the front page of our website www.LiveMultilingualTranslator.com for ease of access.

This Arabic site of “U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention” will be translated live, online, and will be kept updated in real time.

We have taken this bold leadership role  to help  hundreds of millions of people around the world  learn how to protect themselves from this disease as well as learn what steps to take if they or someone they know shows symptoms of swine flu infection"  Said Khaled Fattal, Chairman and CEO of Live Multilingual Translator.  "Informing and educating the Arab-speaking public will help significantly to slow down and prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus." He added

Today, more than 80% of the 350 million Arabs do not know any English, and all of them stand to benefit from the availability of this information in Arabic.  There are also up to 1.5 Billion Muslims who learn Arabic to read the Holly Quran, rendering a good percentage of them functional in the Arabic language.

Chairman Khaled Fattal later confirmed: "Live Multilingual Translator also announces that it will permit the Internet community to use its website, link to it, or place our created Arabic link of the CDC site on their own websites without any charges or fees".

Interested parties are asked to email us in advance to make such requests and advise us of their intent to use this resource at H1N1@LMTranslator.com  also informing us where they will place our links so that we may link to them as well.

This newly created Arabic content will help millions protect themselves and thereby help prevent the disease from spreading. The CDC’s prevention and treatment information can be a life saving and health care empowering tool, especially  when one considers that many, if not the majority,  of these citizens might otherwise lack proper access to such information or adequate guidance from their local health care agencies.

N.B. Multilingual Translator™ wishes to clarify that this new Arabic content on H1N1 is only for general guidance and information purposes and should not be used as a diagnostic medical reference or guide to treatment for H1N1 or any other disease. Individuals who believe they may be infected with H1N1 or any disease should seek immediate medical care.
